A: It is true that size matters, specially in hats when one size does not fit all.

To measure your head take a measuring tape around the circumference of your head at a finger's width above your ears, above your eyes, and around the widest part of the back of your head. Don't make it too tight.

You are measuring exactly where the hat will sit on your head.

If you don’t have measurement tape, cut a 30” piece of string and grab a ruler.

Follow the steps above. Mark on the string where it overlaps so that you can lay it down against a ruler to determine the length. 

It’s always good to measure a few times to ensure that you achieve consistent result.

A: While our hats are made from premium felts, they also need very good care in order to last the test of time.

When you purchase a hat, we include a piece of sandpaper to help keep your hat clean of marks, and we recommend getting a hat brush, thick sticky tape to remove dirt and a good steam iron to ensure your hat stays in good shape.

Here are some instructions to keep your hat in the best state possible:

• Use sandpaper to get rid of stains. Coarse sandpaper works best for deeper blemishes and finer paper for lighter stains. Scrub until the marks are gone and then use the brush or tape to remove any excess felt.
• If you hats shape has changed, the key to get it back to is original shape is steam. The more steam and heat you apply to the brim, the more the felt will loosen and allow you to reshape it to its original look. 

The way you do it as follows:

Switch on the iron and once it’s ready, steam the brim and then press the iron down with firm pressure, while constantly moving the iron around the full brim. Once you have fully heated the brim,  apply pressure on the crown and hat by virtue of books or anything weighted to ensure the shape holds. I try and do this for 24 hrs to ensure the shape holds firmly.

• All of our felt hats are 100% premium felt therefore naturally water resistant but not fully waterproof. Wearing in the rain is okay but we do not recommended getting the hats soaked. In the event that it does get wet, use a hairdryer immediately to dry it as much as possible.

We ship through DHL certified shipping and in most cases it takes 3 businesses days to deliver from the time of shipping.
